- Model Cars
- If you like cars, but want to collect in quantity try models. The above case is from collection in the Race Lounge. Shown are 1:18th scale, 1:43 scale. Buy them or build them, a great hobby and the selection is without limit these days. From vintage race cars to contemporary winner's and newest models.
- The level of detail even in the 1:43 scale is amazing, often right down to shoulder harness and smallest of decals from the period. The above is from my collection of race cars from the 1930 to date.

Vintage Racers
- This 1958 Porsche 356A was seen at Steamboat Springs Vintage Races. It was for sale, but I didn't follow up before it was sold. It came back into my life when I found that Jim Kellogg the 356 restorer in Parker, CO has purchased it. He drove it then blew the engine. Before I could buy it, he stripped all the race parts for a 1954 racer he was building. This is the one I missed and regret it to this day. I was restoring my "B" coupe below for racing, but the "A' would have saved me time and money.
- Remember when you"run what you brung" at the many amateur races around the country? The little 356 above was created in that spirit.
